MASTERING
Please send the files you want mastered as WAV or AIFF files in 16/24/32 bit and in 44,1/48/96 KHz. Ensure that no sum effect-processing like compression, limiting or any other sum effect is on your master bus. Send the files with 2 db headroom of the highest peak of the file. For the upload of your files, please use one of the common file-transfer platforms, like wetransfer.com etc. and send them to our email info@audiomoto.com
Once we have received your files, we will discuss and plan the mastering approach with you. In particular we will consider style, genre and taste. When completed, and you had the chance to listen to it on different audio-systems, we will discuss options for any revisions. Generally, we account for one revision.
DIGITAL MASTERING
Your music will be mastered digitally with the highest quality standard of plugins and software. For the audio conversion we use a RME Fireface 800 interface.
ANALOG MASTERING
Your music will be mastered with additional analog gear for better physical sound shaping and an electronically enhanced analog signal.
TAPE MASTERING
In addition to the digital master your music can be mastered on our high quality tape-machine a Telefunken M15, to get that special tape compression and analog sound into your songs.
STEM MASTERING
For an overall better mastering result, your stems will be digitally mastered with better options for equing out problematic frequencies, or for better compression and transient processing.
